Flux cored solder wire for zinc surfaces in capacitor manufacturing

NK-NP535

Our NK flux cored solder wire was developed for the special needs in capacitor manufacturing. The poles of the capacitor are usually coated with deposits of zinc or tin-zinc. The zinc or tin-zinc surface is hard to wet but requires a fast-soldering process to avoid damage by overheating the capacitor. This is where our NK solder wire is designed for.

Our NK solder wire ensures fast and good wetting on zinc surfaces for a reliable process. The solder wire is produced with a low-silver alloy addressing the needs for cost reduction in this industry. Typical usage is Supercaps - SC manufacturing.

Product features:

  • Fast wetting
  • Optimized for zinc metallized materials
  • Low soldering tip erosion – for a smooth automated process
  • Approximately 2x longer tip life than standard iron solder wire
  • Best suited for the production of capacitors
