SOLDER WIRE LEAD-FREE

Lead-free solder wires have been used for most applications since the RoHS Directive came into force. The most commonly used alloy is the SAC305 alloy with its well-balanced properties and excellent wetting properties thanks to its 3% silver content. To optimize costs, other alloys with lower silver contents are used as well, however, mostly in the consumer sector.

Flux in lead-free solder wires

The flux makes the difference. Our high-performance fluxes ensure good and fast wetting of the soldering joints. Speedy wetting allows faster cycle times and thus saves time and money. This is a great advantage for manual soldering, automated iron-soldering, and laser-soldering. Our solder wires also feature minimum spatter and clear flux residues.
